PRINCE Ishwar Ramlutchman Mabheka Zulu, left, founder and president of the Sivananda World Peace Foundation, unveiled a four-ton granite peace pillar on Saturday in Parkview, Johannesburg.The 3.5m pillar is inscribed with prayers from different religions. Nineteen pillars have already been erected in KwaZulu-Natal.

‘They are a source of inspiration and a reminder that peace and love should transcend our human limitations,’ said Ramlutchman.‘They are a tribute to Swami Sivananda, the founder of the Divine Life Society worldwide, and his disciple, Swami Sahajananda,’ he said.
