Proclaimed by the United Nations General Assembly in 2014, the International Day of Yoga is an opportunity for people across the globe to unite in the practice of yoga — a mind-body discipline rooted in ancient Indian tradition.Yoga offers a wide range of benefits, including stress reduction, enhanced flexibility, improved balance, and greater mental clarity. It is a valuable tool for improving overall physical and mental wellbeing.

11th International Day of Yoga celebrated with great enthusiasm at the Iconic Union Building, South Lawns, Pretoria with the participation of South African & Indian community members.  

The Yoga Trainers/ Teachers of various Yoga Institutes, kids, students enjoyed the various segments of Yoga i.e. Yoga poses/ asanas, meditation and laughter yoga.  On this occasion, High Commissioner Prabhat Kumar felicitated the Yoga Trainers.
